Hey, I am Debashish Patra, a software engineer from India.
My passion lies in using my skills as a creative and inquisitive Software Engineer and experienced Full-Stack Developer to build apps and experiences, which can solve the little nuances of daily lives and benefit many, many users across the world.
Most of my work is free and Open Source.
Outside of writing code, I enjoy playing MMOs, long-form RPGs and visual novels on my gaming handheld (ROG Ally).

Dhaaga: SNS and Chat
A Multi-Protocol social networking client that lets you add and access accounts from various social platforms using a single app.
The Social Hub interface lets you easily pin/manage your favourite accounts and hashtags.
It expands on the simple bookmarking concept and lets you organise them using Collections and even save and View Them Offline later.
It organises your notification streams into Inbox Categories, and even has a dedicated Chat Interface.

What is your current experience and expertise?
I have 4 years of work experience, building various SaaS services and applications, both as an Individual Contributor (IC) and Team Lead at a fast-paced product start-up.
My domain of expertise is in building and scaling web applications, cloud-native backend architectures and microservices.
Thanks to my side-projects, I am also a highly self-driven individual who is keen to learn more everyday. So, I am flexible enough to fill into roles outside of my comfort zone, as well ✌️
